	4 bedroom gite (villa) - private golf course
	For groups of 2-8 persons we offer Les Gagnaires as a self catering four bedroom holiday villa accommodation. The pretty little village of Sadillac rests quietly amongst the fields and vineyards of Bergerac and Monbazillac, just south of Bergerac on the river Dordogne. The history of Sadillac goes back to the Romans, when it was called Satelliticus. In the middle ages Sadillac was a fortified village surrounded by ramparts. Between 1405 and 1569 Thomas head of the protestants razed the village to the ground, leaving only the apse of the church and the ancient fortified Priory - Chateau de Sadillac -. The church is recently restored and famous because of its dome and some very old sculptures. The gite faces the village square opposite the Chateau de Sadillac. The house has recently been restored retaining original character but providing comfortable holiday accommodation, a particular feature being the private swimming pool with its terrace and well-equipped covered summer kitchen and barbecue area. Also the use of the PRIVATE 9 HOLE GOLF COURSE of Chateau de Sadillac, with an attractive lake, set in 8 acres of undulating fairways. It is a compact par 27 approach course ideal for improving one's game or for the ambitious beginner.

Accommodation:
The main house: Entrance hall, separate toilet, living/dining room with breakfast bar divider to well-equiped kitchen area (washing machine, dishwasher, microwave), tiled floors and beamed ceiling. Stairs up from the hall to landing. Two double bedrooms and one with bunk beds. Bathroom with 3/4 size bath and separate toilet
The studio: On the first floor with its own entrance, a living room and a kitchen area. One double bedroom, bathroom with 3/4 size bath and separate toilet. There is a small garden and courtyard with garden and pool furniture.

Information

	Local Information: The Dordogne and the Vezere rivers offer either tranquil or exciting canoeing. There is a riding stable very close to Les Gagnaires, there are many roads to walk or bicycle on. Our main town is Bergerac, with its lovely medieval port, still with its quays, beautiful bridge and timbered warehouses in the old quartier. It is also the the bustling shopping centre for a large region and its excellent shops, restaurants, supermarkets, a large country market on Wednesday and Saturday and many attractions for visitors. The bastide towns of Eymet, Villereal, Monpazier and Monflanquin are well worth visiting.
	Airports: Bordeaux - by car 1.5 hours drive to Sadillac Bergerac - by car 15 minutes drive to Sadillac

	Use of the golfcourse, linen, towels and final cleaning not included. From October to May, heating and electricity is not included.
