	Well positioned on the Secret Valley development and just 5 minutes drive to the beach
	Villa Panorama is a pretty newly-built, part stone-clad, detached villa set high up on a hill with panoramic views of the sea and coastline. Situated on the well-known golf course development, it is well positioned within the development of Secret Valley. This property has another villa on one side, open space in front with views to the sea and views of the mountain range to the rear. Sometimes there is building work on the development but none close to our villa at the moment. We will advise if the situation changes prior to your holiday and give you the opportunity to cancel if the building work is very close to Villa Panorama.

Golf Information

There are three excellent 18 hole golf courses in the close proximity of Villa Panorama.

The nearest, Secret Valley Golf Club is a short 5 minute drive. The course plays to a par 72 and measures 6,120 meters. With it's driving range, chipping area and putting greens it is close enough to get in some daily practice! Secret Valley is a highly prestigious golf course located by the renowned area of "Petra tou Romiou", the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, the Goddess of love. It is set in a scenic valley surrounded by mature trees and beautiful natural rock formations. It consistently appears as the preferred course amongst the island's visiting players in terms of sheer playability and enjoyment.

The Aphrodite Hills Golf Complex has a championship course just a few miles further up the coast on the road to Limassol. Crowning Aphrodite Hills Resort's outstanding leisure facilities is the magnificent 18-hole golf course, designed by acclaimed course architect, Cabell B. Robinson. Five years in the making, it follows the scenic contours of two plateaux, its challenging fairways cutting a swathe through lakes, olive and carob trees. No wonder the course has taken its rightful place among the very best the Mediterranean can offer.

No matter how many times you play the course, there's always a new challenge. Not least the skill needed to conquer the dramatic holes that run alongside or traverse the dramatic central ravine. Celebrate your success in the sophisticated Clubhouse, overlooking the 18th green and the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean below.

Aphrodite Hills is just 10 mins drive from Villa Panorama.

The third one, Minthis Hills Golf Club is just 30 minutes away, on the road to Polis. It was founded in 1994 on the hills of Tsada, and is set on the grounds of a 12th century monastery, in a verdant valley. Created by Donald Steel, it plays to a par 72 and measures 6060 meters. Situated on the outskirts of Pafos, the altitude of 550 meters above sea level ensures cool breezes during the summer months.

A round of golf at Secret Valley or Minthis Hills costs from just €43. At Aphrodite Hills, the cost is from €105 but this does include a buggy for 2 people sharing. These prices were correct as at December 2008.

	Accommodation: Ground floor: Open plan living / dining room with satellite TV. Fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, 1 double bedroom opening onto terrace, en suite shower room and small additional windowed room with baby cot. First floor: master double bedroom opening onto veranda, en suite bathroom, 2 twin bedrooms each with en suite shower room. NB All bedrooms have French windows, sea views and good cupboard space. Hairdryer supplied.
	General: The villa itself is brand new and very comfortably furnished, with plenty of windows to enjoy the views and a large open terrace leading to the private pool with its walk-in steps. The garden is landscaped with flowering shrubs and topiary and has many paved areas, open and covered terraces. There is also a BBQ and covered car port.
	Living Room: Open plan living / dining room with satellite TV, DVD player and open fireplace
	Kitchen: Fully-equipped kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine
	Bedrooms: Ground floor: 1 double bedroom opening onto terrace, en suite shower room and small additional windowed room with baby cot. 1st floor: Master double bedroom opening onto veranda, en suite bathroom, 2 twin bedrooms each with en suite shower room. 	The garden is landscaped with flowering shrubs and topiary. The private pool is 8m x 4m, depth 1.2m-1.7m with steps. There is a dining table and chairs on the patio and a BBQ

Information

	Local Information: Kouklia is the nearest village to Villa Panorama and it is built in the area where "Palaipafos" (Old Pafos), the seat of the kingdom of Pafos stood, which was one of the most important ancient kingdoms of Cyprus. The entire area, including the place where today the houses of the village are built, is an important archaeological region. Excavations have been conducted uncovering, the famous temple of "Aphrodite of Pafos" (Pafia Aphrodite), the remains of the fortification of Palaipafos, and various other artifacts can be found in the archaeological museum which is housed in the medieval villa south of the village. Paphos is located on the west coat of the Island and is a popular all year round holiday resort, famous for its fishing harbour with many open-air café's, restaurants and shops. Wherever you look in Paphos you will not be able to escape its past, whether it is historical or mythological, there will always be something to capture your imagination. Some sites of cultural and historical interest to explore in and around Paphos include: Medieval Fort (Paphos Castle) Situated at the end of Paphos harbour, this is a Byzantine Fort built to protect the harbour. Over its history it has been constructed and reconstructed several times and was rebuilt by the Lusignans, dismantled by the Venetians in 1750 and rebuilt by the Ottomans in the 16th century. The Mosaics Of Paphos Situated near the harbour, the mosaic floors are considered to be amongst the finest in the Eastern Mediterranean. They mainly depict scenes from Greek mythology.
	Attractions: Petra Tou Romiou (Aphrodite's Rock) This strikingly beautiful spot is 25kms east of Paphos. Legend dictates that Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty, rose from the waves on this breathtaking coastline. (A tip: If you drive past the tourist café up the hill and on the bend to the right, there is usually a ice cream van. Park there to enjoy freshly squeezed orange juice and the best toasted sandwiches ever! And while you are enjoying your refreshments just take in the breath taking view of Aphrodite's Rock). Troodos is the biggest mountain range of Cyprus, located in the center of the island. Troodos' highest peak is Mount Olympus at 1,952 meters. The Troodos mountain range stretches across most of the western side of Cyprus. There are many famous mountain resorts, Byzantine monasteries and churches on mountain peaks, and nestling in its valleys and picturesque mountain villages clinging to terraced hill slopes. There are nine churches and one monastery in Troodos that are counted among UNESCO's World Heritage Sites and several other monasteries, of which the Kykkos monastery is the richest and most famous.

	Travel: The flight time from the UK to Cyprus is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Villa Panorama is 10km from Paphos Airport and 90km from Larnaca Airport. Car hire is recommended.

Booking Notes

For bookings of more than two weeks, it will be possible to negotiate a discount

To Confirm a booking a non refundable deposit of 30% of the total rental is required within 3 days. Balance is due 8 weeks before departure date.

A security deposit of £200 is required per booking for breakages/damage, this is paid with the balance and will be returned to you no later than 2 weeks after your return, subject to a report from my property manager.

Air conditioning/heating There is an extra charge of £12 per day, payable at the time of booking or 20 euros per day, payable on arrival at the villa

The property will be available for occupation from 4 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10 am on day of departure

Welcome pack available at a cost of £20.

A set of golf clubs can be hired from the property caretakers at a very reasonable cost of 10 euros per day or 50 euros per week on a first come, first served basis. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Any changeover day, minimum stay 5 nights.
