Outside there is a balcony with a built in barbecue, table and chairs.This overlooks the swimming pool.
Above the apartment there is a large private roof terrace with panoramic views. It is furnished with sunbeds, table and chairs.
| | General: The apartment has been fully refurbished in recent years and has full air conditioning.
The resort has a distinct family feel with many visitors returning year after year.
The pool is attended by a life-guard and there are often poolside activities for the children in the school holidays.
| | Living Room: The lounge is comfortably furnished with a three seater settee which converts to a double bed, a two seater settee and a dining table and chairs. It also has coffee tables and a wall unit. It is decorated in a homely fashion with plants and pictures.
| | Entertainment: The apartment is fitted with a LCD TV, satelite, DVD player and video player in the lounge. There is also a TV and DVD player in the master bedroom.
There is always a supply of DVD's, Videos, CDs and books available.
Wi-fi is also available in the master bedroom.
| | Kitchen: The kitchen has recently been refurbished and is fitted with a fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob,as well as coffee maker, toaster and kettle.
It also has a breakfast bar and four stools.
There is also a fully automatic washing machine. There is an extendable washing line on the roof terrace.Peg out the washing and see Tiede!!!
| | Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed, which can also be split into singles if necessary, a fully fitted wardrobe and drawers. A small TV and DVD player are also fitted and the room has access to Wi Fi. A hairdryer is also supplied.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds, wardrobe and drawers.
| | Bathrooms: Both bathrooms have been completely refurbished this year.
Bathroom 1 is decorated in modern style and has a bath, shower, washbasin, bidet and toilet.
Bathroom 2 is decorated in the more traditional Canarian style and has a shower, washbasin and toilet.
All linen except beach towels are supplied.
| | Terraces: The lounge and master bedroom open on to a terrace, which overlooks the pool. It has a fitted BBQ and table and chairs.
There is also a large private roof terrace with sunbeds.From the terrace you can see the sea, the mountains leading up to Tiede itself, and the pool.

Fairways resort has an abundance of well maintained gardens, both round the pool and in the walkways to the apartments. There is also a water feature which stretches the length of the resort.
There is a large swimming pool, suitable both for the keen swimmer and for merely cooling off.
It also a smaller pool for young children The pool area is always attended by a life-guard and the pool bar is open daily. | | | | | | | Information | | | | | Area: Amarilla Golf is half way between Reina Sofia Airport and Los Cristianos. It takes only 15 minutes to drive to the resort from the airport.
Being about 15K from Las Americas, it is near enough to the hustle and bustle, if you want it, and far enough away if you don't.
Amarilla has a unique blend of rugged landscape, the sea, and of course the green of the golf course.
Fairways resort sits at the bottom end of the golf course and is therefore very close to the sea.One of it's bars is aptly named Ninth Hole Bar, so this gives you a good idea of it's location within the Golf Course.
| | Local Information: Fairways Club itself is well equipped with several restaurants as well as the pool bar. In addition Amarilla Golf Club, Golf del Sur, San Blas and the really attractive Canarian fishing village of Los Abrigos are all walkable. So while a car is advisble it is possible to enjoy a car free holiday if you choose.
The coastline is mainly served by a well maintained footpath, along which you will find many bars, restaurants and coffee shops to keep you going.
In Golf del Sur there is a "sea pool" which is free for all to use, but is emptied at weekends.
The newly built San Miguel Marina is also just a short walk away.
| | Coast/Beach: The ocean is just a few minutes walk from Fairways. The coastline is quite rugged, and the beaches pebbly, unlike the man-made sandy beaches in Las Americas.However there are steps into the water for strong swimmers and there is a very safe "sea pool" on the way to Golf del Sur. Also a short walk away is the newly built marina where sailing boats and local fishermen will be found.
| | Attractions: Top attractions for a visit to Tenerife are a trip to Mount Teide, the highest Spanish mountain, and a Dolphin/Whale watching trip.
There is also the famous Loro Park in the north of the island and it's newly opened sister site, Siam Park in the south.
Aqualand which as well as all the normal pools and water slides, has a twice daily Dolphin show, is situated in Las Americas.
All of these trips can be arranged privately (full details are in the apartment) or can be booked through Fairways reception. As can an Island Tour which discovers the diverse landscapes that Tenerife has to offer.
There are also endless water sports, some of which are local,and several opportunities for horseriding and go-karting.
Camel rides, submarine trips,quad bikes....the opportunties are endless.

| | Activities: On site activities include a pool table, table tennis and a games room where the internet is available. There ia also a small play area for young children.
Apart from Golf, Tenerife offers endless opportunities for swimming, water sports, sailing, diving, horse riding and go karting.
There are also many health spas and gymnasiums which offer weekly membership.
For the more active,Tenerife has many areas for energetic walks. A map showing some of these is available in the apartment.
On the other hand if you want a relaxing holiday enjoying the all year round sunshine, Fairways is the ideal place. Enjoy the pool, the roof terrace and the hospitality Faiways and the local area has to offer.
| | Shopping: The local supermarket supplies anything that you may need for a self-catering holiday and there are also two large hypermarkets 3k away in Las Chafiras.
Las Chafiras is also home to the local Iceland where you can purchase English goods if you require.
For fashion, gifts and souvenirs, the possibilities are boundless.
Golf del sur, los Abrigos and the resorts of las Americas and los Cristianos have more than enough choice for even the most ardent shopper.
The capial of Santa Cruz has a unique character and is well worth a visit. Like any other city it has an endless choice of shops and boutiques but also has many other attractions.
| | Travel: The nearest airport is Reina Sofia which is 7k away from Fairways.
You can however also fly to los Rodeos in the north of the island, via Madrid.At busy times this can be a cheaper option. Los Rodeos Airport is 45k away.
Cars can be hired from either airport or can be hired on site at Fairways.
Amarilla Car Hire which is situated on Fairways will arrange to pick you up at the airport (South) and return you there for your flight home.
While a car is not essential, it is advisable if you want to visit more of the island.
There is a local bus service from Golf del Sur (15 minute walk) to las Americas or las Galletas.
